My first short term mission trip was almost 20 years ago. Since then I have been privileged to serve in almost 30 countries. I began volunteering with GHO 15 years ago and have served CMDA in a number of capacities. I also helped found a student chapter of CMDA at the College of Dental Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina. In this capacity, I help to organize international service projects for undergraduate dental students several times a year in order to expose them to the opportunities for servicing the dental needs of poor people in the developing world while at the same time challenging them to order their priorities seeking God's Kingdom first above all else.
