About Us
Dental Community Fellowship (DCF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to discipling the next generation of dental missionaries to impact our dental world with God's love and for His glory. We provide overseas service learning opportunities for dental students, dental professionals, and others to learn more about international medical missions, grow closer in their relationship with Jesus, and provide excellent care to vulnerable people without access to basic dental care.
DCF is affiliated with the Christian Medical and Dental Association and operates as both a separate nonprofit and a student club at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). We are a para-church ministry that operates on the donations of individuals, churches, and other organizations. We accept participants on our trips who are looking to grow in their relationship with Jesus with an open-mind, not necessarily with a Christian church background. We expect all of our trip participants to abide by our Trip guidelines, which include being open to Christian spiritual practices such as praying, reading the Bible, and participating in worship services.
Non-dentists are welcome to participate on our trips as "helpers," and are an essential part of our international service teams!
